He is survived by: his brothers, Stanley and Steven; his children, Melissa Chavin (James) of London, England, Cary Platkin (Leslie McKnew) of Burlingame, CA and Jamie Sternberg (Michael) of West Simsbury, CT; his close friend May Lin of San Bruno, CA; his grandchildren, Sabine, Romy Chavin, Aidan, Finn, Casey Platkin, Ethan, Molly and Everett Sternberg; and also Lin Wang. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
