She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Masterson and Blanche Masterson (Fancher); her husband Merlin; her children, Rodney and Sandra; and her brother Harold Donald Masterson (Alta).
She is survived by: her son Mark Shippee of San Marcos; her grandchildren, Jill Olson, Robin Torres, Frank Torres, Jeff Baptista, Stayce Baptista (Keira), Marcie Harris, Mike Harris, David Baptista, Brandon Shippee and Brian Shippee (Gavin); and her great great grandchildren, Layla and Uriah.
The red crepe paper poppies were handmade every year by veterans and then were distributed to Auxiliaries and Legions to be given in return of monetary donations.
