““I am totally in shock !! I knew Virginia when I was a student at Cal Poly. She was the sweetest, kindest friend !! She knew that I was an illustrator and she asked me to draw a portrait of a man from African decent ... I was thrilled !! She then took it to Africa when she visited the continent sometime after. A few weeks ago, someone posted pictures of the Vesper Choir and a few asked "what ever happened to Virginia Bell?" It was in response to that question that someone else sent a copy of your death notice. And here we are! You were a favorite classmate to SO many! Roar with the Tigers gone before you. Until we meet again. RIP!”
