It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Louise Healey of San Luis Obispo, California, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former spouse Patricia Zolkoski; her parents, James Francis Healey, Sr. and Mary Helen Greany Healey; and her brother James Healey, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Frederick Vohwinkel, Sr.; her children, Karen Vohwinkel Ledford (Mark) of Charlotte, NC, Keirsten Vohwinkel Huth (Adam) of Charlotte, NC, Frederick Hubert Vohwinkel, Jr. (Tatjana) of Pittsboro, NC, Joseph Victor Vohwinkel (Betsy), North and Eric James Vohwinkel (Lisa) of Wilmington, NC; and her siblings, Elizabeth Rouda (Paul), Timothy Healey (Louise), Michael Healey (Sharon) and Edward Healey. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren; her four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Agape Care of South Carolina, 1326 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732, who along with her caregivers at Lake Wylie Assisted Living provided compassionate end-of-life care.
