She was predeceased by: her parents, Enos Serpa and Cecelia Serpa (Lewis); her husband Joseph; her son Joseph Jr. (Sara); her great grandchild Catherine Downey; her son-in-law Steven Clifton; and her sisters, Mary Rexwinkle and Dora Carpenter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Alexander (John) and Kathleen Clifton; her grandsons, Robert, Randall Downey, Matthew, Joshua Clifton and Aaron Ferraro; and her great grandchildren, Trey, JJ Downey, Asher, Jacob, Joseph Clifton, Brittany and Ethan Ferraro. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lou's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association California Central Coast Chapter or Woods Humane Society.
