He was predeceased by: his parents, John Machado Reis and Mary Simas Reis; his former wife Virginia Reis; and his brothers, John, Eddie and Frank Reis.
He is survived by: his wife Phoebe Reis; his children, Rick, Gary Reis, Dean Walker and Philip Milam; his grandchildren, Kara Pacheco, Kassie Tafoya, Conner and Forrest Walker; and his great grandchildren, Darcy Tafoya and Presley Pacheco.
