Shirley Dusenbury Scanlon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Dusenbury Scanlon of San Leandro, California, who passed away on March 30, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Vierra and Isabel Vierra; and her husbands, Lyman Dusenbury and Robert Scanlon. She is survived by: her daughters, Margaret Spadoni, Susan Sequeira (Mike) and Lauri Huffman (Dave); and her grandchildren, Nick, Joe, Annie, Mary, Catherine, Andrew, Greg, Kristie and Caroline. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Santos Robinson Mortuary (160 Estudillo Ave, San Leandro, CA 94577). A rosary will be held on Sunday, April 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption (1100 Fulton Ave, San Leandro, CA 94577). A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (26320 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA 94544).
