She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rita Villanueva and Felipe Villanueva; her husband Eleazar Villarreal; her children, Gloria, Jose, Mario and Rita; her siblings, Tina, Mateo and Polito; her daughter Delfina; and her siblings, Allie and Julio. She was also cherished by 22 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
