He is survived by: his grandfather Marcos Esnil; his parents, Evelyn Castro and Patrocinio Esguerra; his great-uncle Ben Esnil; his grandmother Maria Castro; his siblings, Agnes, Lea (Reggie), Shirleen (Luis), Jeanette (Kerry), Emily, Edith, James, Perry, Jude, Jojo and Chato; his grandfather Alfredo (Minda); his nieces and nephews, Bianca, Anya, Aryanna, Esperanza, Keilani, RJ, Kingston, Isaiah and Lorenzo; his aunts and uncles, Erning, Ricky (Lorna), James (Virgie), Edwin (Marie), Alfredo Jr. (Melody), Nor (Pete), Beth (Joey), Ester (Noel), Vangie (Earl) and Elvie (Rob); and his cousins, Leda (Olivier), Anne Marie (Cari), Teresa (Nelson), Darwin (Marianne), Maricar (Ton), Caroline (Nimai), Philip, Francis, Calvin, Christopher, Micah (Jason), Zoe, Russli, Tosh, Kiwi, Imani, Charlotte, Maddux, Quinton and Xander.
