He is survived by: his wife Virginia Bear of San Ramon; his son Steve Bear; his daughter-in-law Elizabeth of San Mateo; his grandchildren, Steven, Olivia, Aiden and Nathen Bear of San Mateo; his sister Lorraine Silva of Tracy; and his nieces and nephews, Lynn Schwartz, Lorrie, John, Diane and Chris Silva.
