He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Francesca Duarte and Augustine Duarte; his siblings, Lucy Herrera, Mary Avalos, Raymond Duarte (Amelia), Dolores Duarte and Sheila Duarte; his wife Ruth; his children, Ruth Cindy Duarte and Augustine Lara Duarte; and his grandchildren, Leon Vasquez, Johnnie Duarte, Priscilla Metzer, Amanda Iboa (Alex) and Shawnte Larios (Fred). He was also cherished by 17 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Great-Great Grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Together they built a family foundation of love and perseverance.
