Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parent Kong. He is survived by: his sister Annette; and his sons, Corey (Lucy) and Conan (Dora). He is also survived by sons, daughters, and grandchildren.
As a researcher he was a well-respected photochemist making many contributions to the field including the "hula twist" mechanism of photoisomerization of the rhodopsin chromophore.
