He is survived by: his wife Valerie Long; his children, Robert Long Jr. (Shelby) and Kristin Thornton (Tim); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Austin and Aidan; and his sister Arlene Chong.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. John Vianney Church (4600 Hyland Ave, San Jose, CA 95127). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Saint John Vianney Church (4600 Hyland Ave, San Jose, CA 95127). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John Vianney Church (4600 Hyland Ave, San Jose, CA 95127).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Robert's name to the Almaden Super Lions Club to support local community initiatives—a cause that held a special place in his heart.
