Jude Howell Obituary

Jude Howell was a true gentleman, a peacemaker, a friend to all, and the kind of guy the world needs more of. Born in SF, he worked mainly in bay area restaurants and bars, and before retiring had found a wonderful family in the people of the Willow Glen Safeway. His wit, warmth, wisdom and smile brightened the world around him. He thrilled in preparing fancy dishes and sharing them with everyone. In later years he battled complex health issues, but carried on with determination, grace and dignity. He was greatly loved by all who knew him, and the world seems colder without him. Jude Howell, 6/8/1956-1/10/2025, has ridden off to the great cookout in the sky.

A Celebration of Life for Jude will be held at the River Glen park on Bird & Pine, on February 8th at 1:30pm. (1600 Parkside Ave, San Jose, CA 95125) We'll meet at the picnic tables between the Baseball diamonds and the playgrounds. It is a potluck event. Please indicate you are coming at https://evite.me
