She was predeceased by: her parents, John D. Lyons and Margaret Lyons; her spouse Alban L. Bernard; and her brothers, John Lyons Jr., Paul Lyons (Cynthia) and Robert Lyons.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine L. Ware (Ramon), Robert J. Bernard (Michelle) and Diane B. Simmons (Scott); her grandchildren, Julie, William, Katherine, Colleen, Thomas and Alexandra; and her siblings, Richard Lyons and Mary Monkowski (John). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bessom Funeral Home (25 Sanborn St, Reading, MA 01867). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St Agnes Church (186 Woburn St, Reading, MA 01867). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St Joseph's Cemetery (990 LaGrange St, West Roxbury, MA 02132).
