It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank LaDel Hawkins of San Jose, California, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hawkins and Irma Hawkins; his siblings, Bernice Miles (Virgil Miles) and Richard Hawkins (Cora Hawkins); his children, May AnNita Hartley (Raymond Hartley) and Randy Holmes; and his grandson Stryder King.
He is survived by: his wife Wynne Hawkins; his brother Jack Hawkins (Kathy Hawkins); his sister-in-law Sandra Hawkins; his sons, Frank E. Hawkins (Julie Hawkins) and Gary Hawkins (Laura Hawkins); his granddaughter Jennifer Crist (John Crist); his son Paul Hawkins (Anita Hawkins); and his grandson Jason Hawkins (Valerie Hawkins). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
