He was predeceased by: his father Robert Joseph; his son Haroldvan Joseph; his mother Stella Randle Joseph; and his siblings, Beatrice Webre, Ethel Coleman, Emelda Stewart, Andrew Joseph and Willie Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Irma Joseph; his children, Lionel Matthews, Johnell Joseph, Yolanda Welch (Donald Welch), Kim Joseph, Yvette Thornton (Samuel Thornton), Brian Joseph (Zachary Shirey), Rashawnie Joseph and Irene Joseph; and his brothers, Robert Joseph and Charlie Joseph. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
