He is survived by: his wife Betty; his son Kevin Masuda (Colleen); his stepdaughters, Juliane Cho (Sung) of New Jersey and Lilian Kim (Scott) of New York; his granddaughter Mila Masuda; his stepgrandchildren, Andrew, Alexander, Asher Cho, Grayson and Taylor Kim; and his brothers, Jim (Martha), Tom and David Masuda. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Baptist Church of San Gabriel Valley (323 Workman Mill Rd, La Puente, CA 91746).
