She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadaichi Kaizoji and Wakayo Kaizoji; her husband Sumito "Steve"; her brother Sadao "Glen" Kaizoji (Glen); and her half-brothers, Frank Hirahara and Bob Kishita.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy Sumida; her grandsons, Dean, Derek and Jimmy Nakashima; her niece Karla Kaizoji Austin; her great-nieces, Rachel Kaizoji and Jodie Austin; her great-nephew Michael Austin; and her close friends, Anna Vida and Motoko Saneto.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the memorial service for Sadako will be scheduled at a later date.
