She is survived by: her children, Janet Kato White (Richard) of California, Bruce Kato (Patty) of Alaska and Akio Suzuki (Sachiko) of Japan; her grandchildren, Shanna Kato Burns (Ragan), Lindsey Kato, Kylie Kato, Hiroshi Esumi (Hiromi) and Kae Esumi; and her great grandchildren, Asher Kato and Takema Esumi. She is also survived by nephews, and other relatives.
