She is survived by: her daughters, Vera Laverne Cooper, Faye Jewel Smith and Carolyn; her husband James "Jim" Cowan; her daughter Cheryl Eunice Cowan Johnson; her granddaughter Colette; her sisters, Vera and Faye; and her goddaughter Tori (Bey). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
