He was predeceased by: his parent Leckie Jerome Gibson; his wife Alicia Ferrufino Gibson; and his brothers, Willis and Leo. He is survived by: his daughters, Diedre, Elizabeth (Sean Cronin) and Rachel (Anthony Padilla); his grandchildren, Cecilia, Jesse, Angelina and Connor; his great grandchildren, Dacelia, Ava, David Jr., Alina, Jisselle, Jesse Jr., Jaylene, Jayla, Jessa, Jalaya and Jax; his siblings, Patricia, Sylvia and Joseph; and his brother-in-law Alfredo Rivas.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A rosary was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Cemetery (1500 Old Mission Rd, Colma, CA 94014).
