He is survived by: his son Rufus III (Julie); his wife Mary; his sons, Dan (Beth) and Blair (Kristen); and his grandchildren, Olivia, Mia, Sydney, Price, Hannah and Isabelle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He taught finance classes at Westmont College and served on the boards of the humane society and SB City College Foundation.
