He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Ortega and Etrice Marie Gonzalez; and his uncle Robert "Gijo" Gonzalez. He is survived by: his brother Nicky Rey Ortega; his grandparents, Mary M. Losoya, Manuel and Star Ortega; his uncle Benjamin (Lila); and his son Lil Ben. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family.
