The passing of Mark D. Tierney in San Francisco, California leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 71. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mark shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mark farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Tierney and Lillian Tierney (Podgurski); his sisters, Gayle Small and Lynn Quay (Darwyn); and his nieces and nephews, Luke Quay, Dustin Quay, Courtney McGuigan and Jenna Tejada.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home (1605 Helderberg Ave, Rotterdam, NY 12306). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery (2501 Troy-Schenectady Rd, Niskayuna, NY 12309).
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mark's memory to the Animal Protective Foundation 53 maple Ave., Scotia, NY 12302.
