It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilynn Jean Balch of San Francisco, California, born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on June 13, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Dittbrenner and Elizabeth Dittbrenner (Palmer). She is survived by: her husband Richard Balch; her stepchildren, Susan Harrington of Aptos, CA, Steven Balch, Daniel Balch of Colorado Springs, CO and James Balch of Boise; her niece Barbara Wilcox of Mills River, NC; and her nephew Peter Wilcox of Hampshire, IL. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to Anchor Health and Hospice, Santa Rosa, California.
