With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Margaret DeJong of San Francisco, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Margaret left this world on February 22, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She is survived by: her siblings, John DeJong, Penelope Grows, Christine Swilley and Catherine Artman.
Regrettably, after the Covid-19 crisis of 2020, her declining health prevented her from returning to Egypt, but she continued indefatigably working to correct and finalize facsimile drawings for publication until shortly before her death.
