It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Marie Matranga of San Francisco, California, who passed away on January 22, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred A. Haas and Thecla C. Haas; and her children, Norbert Haas (Jane) and Mary Haas. She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, Geoffrey Matranga (Kim), Carolyn Brady (Shawn), Ben Matranga (Daniela) and Frank Matranga (Heather); her grandchildren, Siena, Miles, Russell Matranga, Josephine, Charles, Rosalia Brady, Sophia, Daniel Matranga, William, Benjamin and Mary Matranga; her brother Nathan Haas (Barbara); her children, Cap, Alfreda Schmidt (late Milton), Thomas Haas (Therese), Lorraine Berland (Doug), Rich Haas (Leona), Maurice Haas (Debbie), John Haas (Sharon), Fredd Haas (Linda), Joyce Lang (Tom) and Donna Nathanson; and her sister Donna. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 surviving siblings, numerous nieces and nephews, and a large community of friends.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Chapel (3255 Folsom St, San Francisco, CA 94110).
