With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jose Roberto Escobar of San Francisco, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 2, 2025 at the age of 93. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jose Roberto leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Jose Roberto may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his wife Martha G. Martinez; his son Robert "Bobby" Escobar; and his siblings, Martha Jeffers and Marco Escobar, Jr.. He is survived by: his grandson Nicholas; his children, David Escobar (Laura) and Lori Escobar (Suzanne London); his grandchildren, Emily Escobar (Felipe Gramacho) and Nick Escobar; and his sisters, Cecelia Robel and Dora Lewis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A burial will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Skylawn Memorial Park.
