He was predeceased by: his parents, Modesto Briones and Rogelia Briones; and his siblings, Rosalia Santiago (Raoul), Benjamin Sr. (Christina), Daniel Sr. (Salvacion) and Antonio (Frances).
He is survived by: his significant other Amelia Geronimo Briones; and his sister Remedios B. Writer (late Adiel Writer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duggan's Serra Mortuary (500 Westlake Ave, Daly City, CA 94014). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Angels Church (107 San Pedro Rd, Colma, CA 94014). A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (1500 Old Mission Rd, Colma, CA 94014).
