She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Susana Martinez Teresa Sanchez and Francisco Aguilar Sanchez; her husband Napoleon Constantino Cailipan; her children, Leon Neal and Myr LeGrand; her granddaughter Yzabelle Yhazz Deuda Cailipan; her daughter Myna Leonny Cailipan Lapina; and her cousin Jane Teresa Aquino. She was also cherished by her children, parents, siblings and extended family.

She shortly lived with her husband in Seattle WA between 2019-2020 and returning back to their original home residence in LA County during the COVID19 pandemic. Before the COVID19 times, Myra was well admired by the Filipino community and friends at the SCV Senior Center.
