He was predeceased by: his parents, Stacy and Sylvia; and his siblings, Don, Bob, John, Virginia and Roger.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria Carvajal; his children, Barbara, John, Sylvia, Dolores, Robert and Linda; and his siblings, Earnest, Rhea Dawn, Mary, Patty and Joe. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
