He was predeceased by: his parents, Emma Mae and William Henry Nettles; and his siblings, Will Nettles and Onetha Dickerson. He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Tracy Tarver, Adrienne Jack, Curtrina Gildon, Emmanuel, Taliah Gildon, Latrice Ellison (Rodney), Rodney and Roderick Ellison; and his siblings, Juanita Whetstone-Rivera, Joyce Nettles and Jimie Nettles. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren.
