With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Vic Johnson in San Diego, California, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Louise Johnson (Morehouse) and Victor Archibald Johnson; his daughter Deborah Kay; his former wife Barbara; and his sister Jean Zahner.
He is survived by: his children, David Johnson (Michelle), Tammy Dirks (Bill), Lisa Ewan (Rick), Bruce Johnson and Jennifer Kernes (Paul); his stepchildren, Timothy Finestead (Patricia), Thomas Finestead (Sue), James Finestead and Carol Casotti (Dave); his grandchildren, Shannon, Brian, Matt, Scott, Elise, Katie, Gage, Shane, Brianna, Olivia, Cole, Ragan, Ian, Victoria and Addison; his stepgrandchildren, Kelli, Thianna, Andre'A, Anthony, Tyler, Trey and Dominic; his great grandchildren, Aubrey, Nora, Alexia, Liam, Lelya, Cael and Camryn; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Aria, Rylie, Zoe and Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schroeder-Stark-Welin Funeral Home (609 7th St, Boone, IA 50036). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (712 12th St, Boone, IA 50036).
