She was predeceased by: her siblings, Johnny, Florence, Evelyn, Emily and Francis; her parents, John and Pearl; her husband Dallas; her daughter Kathleen Waite; her granddaughter Sarah Smith; her great grandchildren, Joshua and Skylar Smith; and her pets, Mitzi and Buddy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Haller (Buck) of Polson, MT and Sandra Smith of Gothenburg, NE; her grandson Nathan Smith (Andi) of Sierra Vista, AZ; her great grandchildren, Nathan Smith and Riley Smith; her great great grandchild Jaxson Smith; and her adoptive daughter Janet Wallman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Blase Strauser Memorial Chapel (620 10th St, Gothenburg, NE 69138). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 South Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151).
