Sonya Harris Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sonya Harris (San Diego, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 6, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joanne McKee and Maurice Andrel Reaves; her son Dwayne Gilbert; and her grandmother Marguerie. She is survived by: her children, Amber Cooke (Bryan), Allison Garrett (Renardo), Hennessy Johnson and Chasity Huggins; her brothers, Anthony Askari Brown and Thornell Brown; and her grandchildren, Noah Cooke, Kaiden Gates, Da'Mea Johnson, Grayson Garrett, Gionni Garrett and Dameon Johnson Jr..

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Preferred Cremation & Burial Chapel (6406 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92115).
