With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sally Jane Ellenbecker in San Diego, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 1, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Anthony Ellenbecker; her parents, William Josiger and Irene Josiger (Powers); and her siblings, William Josiger, Jr. (Phyllis), Michael Josiger (Crystal), Kenneth Josiger (Constance), Susan Morris (John) of Wisconsin and Joan Krause (Albert) of Wisconsin.
She is survived by: her daughter Lauri Breeze (Don); her grandchildren, James, Michael and Anna Watkins; her stepgrandchildren, Jacob Breeze (Sydney), Alexis Oliver (John) and Nicholas Breeze; her stepgreat-grandson Kurt Breeze; and her siblings, Rodger Josiger (Ruth), Gerald "Butch" Josiger (Marjorie), Judy Dehnel (Ray) and Carol Sekerka (Danny). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Clairmont Mortuary (4266 Mt Abernathy Ave, San Diego, CA 92117). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church (4124 Mt Abraham Ave, San Diego, CA 92111). A burial was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (3751 Market St, San Diego, CA 92102).
