She was predeceased by: her parents, Cicero, Sr. Dunaway and Essie Lois Dunaway; her siblings, Andrea Dunaway, Angela Epperly, Jacqueline Dunaway, Sharon Dunaway, Fredrick and Cicero Jr. Kenneth Dunaway; her son Darrell Jackson; and her aunt Pauline Green.

She is survived by: her children, DeJanette Davis, LaShawnda Mikhael and Harry Reed; her son-in-law Raymond Mikhael; her grandchildren, Sterling, Kristen, Anthony, Nate, Tyjanee, Christopher, Tyrese, Tairiq, Zhae'lyn, Jonathan, Bishop, Justin and Zion; her great grandchildren, Coco, Kalauhn, Kayden, Elijah, Javon Jr., Araya, Aiiden, Mavrik and Lukas; and her sisters, Miachell Dunaway and Leticia Dunaway. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Preferred Cremation & Burial Chapel (6406 University Ave, San Diego, CA 92115). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (1962 Euclid Ave, San Diego, CA 92105).
