He is survived by: his children, Fred Hilgers (Teri) and Amy Igou (Dan); his grandchildren, Chelsea Hilgers, Kaitlyn Hilgers, Michaela Hilgers and Benjamin Igou; his great grandchild Madilyn Hilgers; and his siblings, Herb Hilgers (Shirley) and Susan Weigel (Ed). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
