He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
After his wife's passing in Oct 2019, his daughter Theresa lived with him, taking care of him in San Diego for a year; in his final year, he moved to Atria Assisted Living, Reno, NV and was near devoted family members who saw him every day, except when COVID quarantines prevented visits.
