He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Wieckert and Viola Wieckert; and his son John Timothy Wieckert. He is survived by: his wife Ginny Wieckert; his children, Dennis Wieckert, Sharon Rogers (Don) and Chrissy Harrison (David); and his daughter-in-law Kim Wieckert. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
