He is survived by: his grandchild Green Bay; his wife Charlotte Brooks; his children, Timothy Brooks (Lynn) of San Diego, California, Laurel Moreland of Poway, California and Mike Brooks (Gretchen) of Reno, Nevada; and his brooks David (Kim). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

“I was saddened to Learn that Rhody has passed. I worked with Rhody at Logicon in the late 1980s until he retired. I admired Rhody for his quick wit and always pleasant manner. Most of all I looked up to him for guidance as I moved from a Navy career into the civilian workplace. He was a mentor to me in this transition. Regrettably, I am out of the area on travel in the Midwest and will not be able to attend his services. I wish; Fair winds and following Seas to my friend Rhody.”
