He is survived by: his wife Marie Dial; his brother John "Bud" Dial; his children, Tim Dial (Laura) and Lisa Lee (Bobby); his daughter-in-law Cecilia "Ceci" Dial; his grandchildren, Alexis Richardson (Todd), Charley Abatti (Jordan), Zachary Dial (Kimber), Jeremy Dial (Tanya), Lauren Dial (Samantha), Steven Dial and Madison Lee; and his great grandchildren, Ashton Dial, Parker Abatti and Richardson.

The family asks, in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to either the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
