Michael Daniel Uyeda Obituary
Michael was born and raised in sunny San Diego. He loved that family and friends were always close by. He spent many summers and breaks from school going camping and exploring the United States with his grandparents Leslie and Beatrice – lovingly known as Papa & Mamaw. He also spent many weekends spending time with his mom Toni – learning to love music and hanging out with his cousin Tony. Fishing trips on the bay were spent with his dad Keith, uncle Scott and cousin Shaun.
Michael met his wife Nicole in High School, although he remembered her from a Junior High college prep meeting, in their combination English/History class. Having a mutual friend also helped the relationship start. Both graduated from Madison High School and while Nicole went on to college, Michael went to work: delivery driver for Papa John's, cell-phone salesman, Road Runner Sports shoe expert/customer service supervisor, and vacuum service technician.
Michael enjoyed spending nights with friends at his home away from home Peter D's, singing karaoke, attending concerts, rooting for his football team (Go Cowboys!), spending time at home watching movies and cuddling with the fur kids: Jameson, Midori, Waylon & Molly.
He is preceded in death by his father Keith, grandfather Leslie, uncle Scott & grandmother Rose. He leaves behind his wife Nicole, mother Toni, parents-in-law Randy & Diane, grandmother Beatrice, aunts Kathy & Theresa, uncle Mark, and cousins Tony & Shaun (wife Heather, son Jackson) and half-sister Kaley.
