He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Samuel Gill and Myrtle Frances Olsen. He is survived by: his brothers, Keith and Lawrence; his wife Martha Braby; and his children, Linda Bessey (Kevin), David Gill (Denise), Steven Gill (Adriane) and Thomas Gill (Kathleen). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Aid Fund.
