She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Ferguson and Mary Jane Gibson Ferguson; her husband Robert Kaveney; and her brothers, Patrick and Larry.

She is survived by: her children, Janet of San Diego, Susan Shultz (Stephen) of San Diego, Patrick (Kathy) of Carlsbad, Mary Temoyan (John) of Mission Viejo and Sean (Tina) of Palmdale. She is also survived by five grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association San Diego Chapter in her honor.
