She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parent Filipino; her husband Frederick Roy Smithson; her close friend Lady; her daughter Micheline Grimm (John Grimm); her grandchildren, Samantha Grimm, Dominick Grimm, Anthony Grimm, Gianni Grimm, Monique Casanova (Robert Casanova) and Sarge; her daughter Monique; and her son-in-law Bobby.

In her 60's she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's/Dementia but that never kept her down.
