He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Robin Hardin (Jane) and Rhonda Stiver; his nieces, Jennifer Hardin and Amy Stiver; his great-niece Gina Marie Lange; his great-nephew Royce McCoy; his friends, Scott Cohn, Ken Tucker and Barb Fitch; and his pets, Benny and Midge. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.

“I am so sorry to learn of Jon's passing. We lost touch in the early 1990's. Jon and I met at Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps in the early 1980's. How young we were then! Miss you, Mr. Hardin, and I thank you for having been my friend. May you rest in peace.”
