We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Jon Franklin Berndes of San Diego, California, born in Alva, Oklahoma. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Natalie Berndes; his wife Kristin; his children, Berit (Erik), Kai and Erik; his grandchildren, Sage, Olivia and Oceanea; his siblings, Peggy, Scott and Barry; his father Axel Red Berndes; and also Natalie. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Contributions can be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, or the San Diego Eye Bank where Jon's eyes were donated in the hopes that others will be able to see the world as he saw it.
