We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2020, Jean Chua Shen of San Diego, California passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Chua Shen to pay them a last tribute.

She is survived by: her daughter Valerie; her son-in-law Andrew; her grandchildren, Noah and Malia; and her husband Peter Shen.

She taught through UCSD extension classes for many years and eventually began teaching classes in her home which she did until the coronavirus caused the shelter in place order in March of 2020.
